I specialised in hiring sales people when working for 44 Recruitment. For 2 years I worked with clients such as Optus and Lenovo hiring BDM's and AM's in the technology and telecoms space. I have since hired BDM's, AE's and AM's for Pureprofile from an internal HR viewpoint. I have learned to understand how to get the best out of interviewing candidates and ask the right questions to identify the hunters from the gatherers and the top selling sales people from the ones that just say they are. It helps that I am from a sales background and married to a gun sales manager!

I started out in the IT sales space - focusing on hiring BDM's and AM's for clients like Lenovo, TD Consulting, Datacom, Alphawest and Optus. When I moved into an internal HR role, I began hiring engineers - mostly with Angular, React and AWS experience. It was really hard to find engineers who were worth the money they were asking for - there are certainly a shortage in Sydney which pushed up their salary expectations. Having worked in a tech start up as a Project Coordinator, and being a trained ScrumMaster myself, I understand the Tech Dev process and the importance of having testing in place to complement the interview process. I have also hired Level 3 IT support officers.
