What is RecruitLoop
RecruitLoop is an online recruiting platform providing businesses with flexible recruitment support by connecting them with a distributed network of expert recruiters.
Our mission is to provide employers with stress-free recruiting. We will do that by giving professional recruiters opportunities to provide fantastic client service in a trusting and flexible environment.
We founded RecruitLoop after years of frustrating and expensive recruitment experience and a belief that traditional recruiting options were not working for small-medium businesses. In short, the recruiting model is ripe for reinvention.
What we hold to be true:
- Recruiting is critical for every business, but hard work to get right. This is particularly true for small-medium businesses, where it usually involves top management, and the relative cost of getting it wrong can be much higher.
- Current support options are broken. 62% of Australian Executives would not recommend the services of a recruitment firm to others (Executive Monitor Report, 2011). And smaller businesses have been priced out of the market for too long. It's time for that to change.
- Every business has different recruitment needs. One size doesn't fit all. Why try to squeeze every business into the same support model?
Michael Overell CEO, Founder
Michael is CEO and Cofounder of RecruitLoop. Prior, he was at McKinsey & Company where he worked on strategic and organisational issues in a range of industries. He also tried his hand accounting for SMEs at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.
Michael holds Bachelors degrees in Commerce (1st Class Honours) and Arts (Organisational Psychology) from the University of Queensland.
Denis Zubkov Head of Product, Founder
Denis is Cofounder of RecruitLoop and leads product, design and technical development. His career has spanned branding, graphic design, user interface design and application development. Most recently, he led UI/UX for internet banking applications at Sandstone Technology. Before moving to Australia 9 years ago he founded and ran a design agency for 5 years.
Denis holds a Bachelor of Computer Sciences from Moscow University of Electronics & Mathematics, and studied at the College of Fine Arts (UNSW).
Paul Slezak Head of Community and Client Services
Paul is RecruitLoop's Head of Community and Client Services. With nearly 20 years in the recruitment industry and having worked for both an international publicly listed group as well as a global niche recruitment business, Paul has been a hands-on recruiter, manager, trainer, coach, mentor, and speaker across Australia, Asia, Europe and North America.
Paul holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Sydney and subsequently a Masters from Macquarie University. He is also co-author of 21 things to do to get a new job NOW!
Garry Visontay Chairman, Founder
Garry is Chairman and Founder of RecruitLoop. Garry is a serial entrepreneur, and current investor in numerous Australian startups, including DesignCrowd. He is currently the Managing Director of The Fresh Venture Group, a multi-award winning, national corporate services business.
Garry spent over a decade as a Regional IT Director with Procter and Gamble. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computing (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney.
